Promoting Church Partnerships in West Central Oklahoma

by Matthew D. Miller on August 4th, 2010
State Coordinator John Vincent recently took a trip to West Central Oklahoma to promote the ministry of CEF in that area of our state. Here’s his account of that trip: John VisitingChildren are investments, not intrusions or interruptions. Our Lord invested time and attention in children: Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these. When he had placed his hands on them, he went on from there” (Matthew 19:14, 15). Your prayer/financial partnership with us has opened marvelous doors of opportunity for promoting church/CEF partnerships for starting Good News Clubs in elementary schools. Following are the details of promoting our church/CEF partnership in West Central Oklahoma on June 16-18:
  • 6 pastors personally visited
  • 8 other pastors and churches visited and left literature for further follow-up
  • 2 prayer groups started
  • 7 cities/towns visited (Weatherford, Clinton, Elk City, Sayre, Erick, Dill City, and Cordell)
